  • Developed communications & resources related to advising first year students for faculty/staff advisors

Dance Marathon

Executive Director (Spring 2016 - Spring 2017)

  • Trained, mentored, and provided direct work-direction to 11 Executive Board members, 15 Leadership Team members, and in-direct work direction to 300 committee members

  • Planned and executed 45 fundraising and recruitment events resulting in a net profit of $453,000

  • Facilitated goal-setting at the beginning of each semester and tracked progress of each director and committee toward their goal

  • Evaluated progress through weekly director one on one check-ins

  • Oversaw and/or directly coordinated all campus-wide partnerships; including UNI Athletics, Office of Event Services, UNI Dining Services, Office of Student Life, and Department of Residences

  • Managed and tracked a $27,000 operating budget

  • Created and implemented the 2017 - 2019 organizational strategic plan which ensured future growth in fundraising & donors

  • Served as the face of the organization to the University of Northern Iowa, the Cedar Valley community, University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, and Children’s Miracle Network

  • Created data tracking systems for events, fundraising, and stewardship of donors

  • Facilitated weekly Executive Board meetings, monthly Leadership Team meetings, and monthly all-committee meetings designed to promote ongoing leadership development and communication

  • Oversaw a 23% increase in fundraising ($83,000+) and an 11% increase in dancers participating in fundraising, (75% in 2016 to 86% in 2017)
